Hey Momma!

I've been pregnant or nursing for the last 4 years. My husband I together have 4 kids, we are a blended family, and I am a stay-at-home mom to 3 kids - 3 and under. 😜

A lot of the last 4 years are kind of a blur… the days are long but the years are flying by. I used to own my own store front business, where I would serve 100 plus customers a day, and Monday through Saturday I would work TWELVE HOUR DAYS!!! Motherhood is NOTHING compared to those days!!! I used to think that I worked hard… and came to find it pales in comparison to raising kids.

Nobody ever told me this would be the hardest job of my life…

Nobody ever told me my marriage would take a 180 once we became parents...

Nobody ever told me that while I was giving birth to babies, I was also giving birth to a NEW WOMAN. And if I clung to that old life and that old girl (MISS INDEPENDENT💁🏻‍♀️), I would live in a state of discontent and feel like a failure.

Things are looking up for me, I won’t lie and say I don't have moments where I WISH I could have the luxury of coming and going as I please… (and yes self care and alone time is important) but I was depressed from wishing for that EVERY MOMENT OF EVERYDAY. I was a present mom out of obligation, but it took me work to become a mom who desired to be in the presence of her kids… yes I still have days where I want to run and hide… but I've come a long way and have worked to love my motherhood and the new woman I became and I am so honored to have you on this journey with me and to share the practical things I've implemented that have taken me from bummerhood to motherhood.
